TH, Ohio (8/8/2003) - My husband and I traveled to MB in mid-July with our 10-year-old daughter. We stayed at the Ocean Creek Resort. We were thinking of a condo originally, but decided to try a ocean front efficiency instead. The room was clean and the kitchenette suited our needs fine. We thought we'd do simple breakfasts and lunch in and go out for dinner daily. We were happy with the accomodations and the pool, etc. We didn't use the childrens program as our only child is a little hesitant to setting out on her own in case she doesn't like the activity. This stay was much more pleasant all in all. Previously we fell for the misleading ads for Sea Mist and didn't like it at all. The area of the Ocean Creek is much less crowded and appealing. If we return to Myrtle Beach I'd choose it again.
TO, Kentucky (8/7/2003) - Just returned from vacation in Myrtle Beach! Had a wonderful time as always. We stayed at the Breakers Paradise Towers which was fantastic! We had a 2 bedroom superior suite. The rooms were cheery and very clean. We had light blue sheets on our very comfortable queen size beds and luxurious yellow towels! What a nice surprise from the standard white!! Each day house keeping left us 8 towels, 8 wash clothes and 8 hand towels. There were only 4 of us. That really impressed me!! The kitchen and living room was attractively furnished with light colors and the view from our surrounding glass windows was breathe taking. The staff was friendly and very accomodating. Will definitely stay there the next time we visit Myrtle Beach!
